Warranty & Guarantee Policy – Hifix Global Automotive Services

At Hifix Global Automotive Services, we stand firmly behind the quality of our engineering craftsmanship and fitted parts. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage, terms, and conditions governing vehicle repairs, parts replacements, and servicing completed by our certified technicians at our dedicated Hampshire workshop facility.

1. Warranty Coverage Period

  • Parts & Labour Guarantee: All mechanical repairs, servicing, and replacement components supplied and fitted by us come with a 3 to 6-month warranty (or up to 6,000 miles, whichever occurs first), unless explicitly stated otherwise on your formal invoice.

  • OEM Specification Parts: Replacement parts carry the full manufacturer guarantee, ensuring your vehicle retains high standards of reliability, safety, and performance.

2. What Is Covered Under Warranty

Our warranty strictly covers:

  • Defective parts supplied and installed directly by Hifix Global Automotive Services.

  • Installation errors or workmanship faults resulting directly from work carried out by our workshop technicians.

  • Immediate re-inspection and remedial repair at our Hampshire workshop at zero extra labour cost if a covered component fails within the warranty period.

3. What Is Excluded (What Voids the Warranty)

The warranty will be considered void or non-applicable under the following circumstances:

  • Customer-Supplied Parts: Any parts purchased by the client and brought to our workshop for fitting are not covered by our parts warranty (labour-only guarantee applies strictly to our installation).

  • Third-Party Tampering: Any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification carried out by another garage, third-party mechanic, or the vehicle owner following our service.

  • Misuse & Neglect: Vehicle track racing, off-road abuse, extreme overload, or continuing to drive the vehicle after an oil pressure, coolant temperature, or critical warning light appears.

  • Standard Wear & Tear: Perishable items subject to natural operational friction and deterioration (e.g. wiper blades, bulbs, brake friction pad wear beyond reasonable limits, and tyre tread wear).

  • Pre-existing Defects: Secondary component failures caused by unaddressed, pre-existing mechanical or electrical faults elsewhere in the vehicle.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

  • Contact Us Promptly: If you notice an unusual noise, vibration, warning light, or issue related to a recent repair, notify our workshop team as soon as possible via telephone or WhatsApp.

  • Workshop Re-Inspection: We will book a prioritized inspection slot for your vehicle at our Hampshire workshop facility to diagnose the root cause of the issue.

  • Remedial Action: If the fault is verified to be a result of a defective part supplied by us or a workshop installation oversight, we will repair or replace the component completely free of charge.
